Meet the Doctor

Dr. Stephanie Settimi was born and raised in Visalia, California.  After completing her undergraduate studies at UC San Diego she worked abroad for one year in Switzerland.  She graduated from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 2005, then returned to her hometown to work alongside her father and sister in the family dental practice, Settimi Family Dentistry.   During her 10 years in Visalia, she volunteered her dental services at the Samaritan Center, screened elementary school children for dental disease, volunteered for Global Dental Relief in India, and served as a Board Member and President of the Tulare Kings Dental Society.   

A few years before taking over Bennett Valley Dental, Dr. Settimi returned to the Bay Area and became a part time Assistant Professor at the University of Pacific Dental School, while also working part time in private practice.  She now calls Santa Rosa her new home and looks forward to building relationships with her patients.  She cares for her patients like family and tailors treatment to each patient based on their situation and goals.   She easily puts her patients at ease and makes patients feel welcomed and valued.   

In 2019 Dr. Settimi welcomed identical twin boys to the world and now her free time is spent with her two sons, Luca and Matteo.   Prior to the birth of her sons, she enjoyed outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, rafting, whitewater kayaking, cycling, trail running and international travel.  She has backpacked through many countries and enjoys any opportunity to learn about local traditions and customs and to interact with the locals and experience their culture firsthand.  She looks forward to meeting you!
